French Country 18th Century Louis XV Armoire in solid walnut with a Chapeau de Gendarme Crown from Provence. Beneath the crown is carved in relief. The apron has an iconic provencal carving in relief. The carved scrolled feet are original as is the crown. Deep warm honey walnut color typical of pieces from Provence. Excellent quality, and the overall condition is strong and sturdy.
